Ever heard of a pizza base made with potatoes? No, right! Here is a pizza in which no flour has been used. This pizza recipe is cooked by making a thin crust pizza base using grated potatoes, processed cheese, egg, vegetable oil along with oregano and chilli flakes. The grated potatoes are first squeezed to remove the juice of potatoes and then it is baked. Once the base is done, a layer of chicken sausages is spread along with more cheese and then baked to perfection. This homemade potato pizza is surely a game changer. You are going to love it for sure!

How to make Thin Crust Potato and Chicken Pizza

  • Step 1

    Grate 4 medium-sized potatoes finely in a large bowl and place the grated potatoes in a kitchen towel. Wrap and squeeze as much as possible to remove the potato juice.

    In a mixing bowl, add in the squeezed potatoes, grated cheese, egg, vegetable oil and 2 teaspoons of oregano, chilli flakes and black pepper.

  • Step 3

    Mix well all the ingredients with a spatula or a spoon, this will be the pizza base.

    On a baking tray, lined with parchment paper or aluminium foil, flatten the pizza base mixture in a circular manner with a spatula or the back of a spoon.

  • Step 5

    Bake the pizza base in a pre-heated oven at 220 degree Celsius for around 15-20 minutes.

  • Step 6

    In the meanwhile, cook the chicken sausages at full power in the microwave oven for about 90 seconds.

  • Step 7

    Once done, cut the sausage into small and thin slices.

  • Step 8

    Once the pizza base is baked, take it out and spread some more cheese and then place the layer of chicken sausages. Afterwards, sprinkle a little oregano and chilli flakes over the sliced sausages.

    Put it back in the oven once more for about 10 minutes. Take it out and give a standing time of another 5 minutes.

    Serve this delicious pizza while it’s still warm. Enjoy it to the fullest!!!
